As a atEvent Enterprise Business Development Representative, you will lead our Sales organization to the highest quality, quantity, and velocity of strategic pipeline, engaging and inspiring prospects to transform their business by increasing event ROI. You will fuel the revenue engine for atEvent, creating new opportunities through collaborative account planning with a best-in-class software sales team and engagement with C-Level and Executive stakeholders in Fortune 1000 companies.

Responsibilities (what you’ll do):

  • Generate new business opportunities to drive pipeline growth
  • Outbound prospecting - cold calling, email, and other campaigns
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, appointment setting)
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities
  • Conduct high level conversations with Account Executives in Target Accounts
  • Work closely with Sales Management and Enterprise Account Executives to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results within CRM
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of atEvent products, industry trends and competition.
  • Moderate travel required to attend events and tradeshows to generate qualified leads
  • Achieve or exceed monthly Qualified Opportunities quota

Qualifications (what you’ll bring):

  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Sales, and/or Marketing (software sales is a plus)
  • Proven record of exceeding targets and succeeding in a goal-driven environment
  • ‘Four-year university/college degree or equivalent experience required
  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
  • Sales-focused, strategic thinking with a bias towards action
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effective
  • Strong desire to be in technology sales
  • Coachable, resourceful, and self aware
  • Strong problem-solving skills
